Description | This short (226 hexameters) didactic poem is a description of the lake Cerknica situated in the southwestern part of Slovenia. In the summer (mainly from August to November), the lake got completely drained. The poem explores the origin and nature of this phenomenon. The poem's language is difficult, sometimes grammatically incorrect. |
